Record Sales At Travel Fair, thousands turned out at the fairs at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre and snapped up tens of million of dollars in packages to Europe, The United States, Japan, Korea and China.
Even there is a economic crisis now, Singaporeans are not tightening their belt, instead they spent money to travel. There are many reasons for Singaporean to travel:
- Some of them are not young, they should experience more they can while they are still able to
- Due to the economic downturn, many prices drop, like the airfares, the hotel accommodation fees etc.
- Some packages are cheap, so many people make us of the travel fair packages to save some money.
This is ironic, even there is a economic crisis now yet Singaporeans are spending money to travel. However, to most Singaporeans traveling is a necessity, for them to relax after having a hard time working.
